For its third edition, the Young Artists Meetings in Chagny, will open its doors from 21 to 30 August 2020 with Andréa Sparta, Caroline Anezo, Chloé Poulain, Joris Creuze , Jules Galais, Lucien Vantey, Pier Sparta, Tindara Sparta and Vincent Cardoso under the coordination of Victoria Auzet.

Founded by young artists from the region, as an "independent and committed exhibition", the Young Artists' Meetings have been promoting real encounters between art lovers and young artists since 2018. Believing in "direct" mediation, the mission of these encounters is to introduce a new generation of artists to Chagny, where the works of Richard Serra, Lawrence Weiner, Thomas Schutte are already visible.

The exhibition Capitale des Alentours, will bring together 9 artists from all over France who studied at the Beaux-Arts of Dijon, Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Montpellier and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. These artists will propose recent works as well as works created in situ in the weeks preceding the exhibition. The encounters here fulfill the role of an autonomous artistic residency that promotes the synergy of workshops essential to the realization of collective projects.

The vernissage will take place in the presence of all the artists on August 21st at 5pm*. The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm* and on weekends from 9am to 5pm*. call 06 78 44 33 88
